Ain't this an ugly quilt?!

Grandma" made this !
This ugly quilt needs a home! It was made by my son's Grandmother in the 80's. It's one of those polyester/ cotton quilts. He kind've grew out of it because it has little ducky's, etc. on the back :).

So, I took it and long arm quilted each square with a different pattern ! (all computer done)
It's thin and a little worn in spots, but it is loved (just like those ugly dogs)

See it here for a better look and description...maybe you can give this thing a new home :)

"Attack Cat" quilted wall hanging

For Sale:
The "Attack Cat on Duty" quilt!  I love this fabric panel. I had it for years and finally added batting and backing and quilted it. Was going to use it as a flag outdoors , BUT it turned out so pretty, AND, I put so much time into I decided against it.

But, I don't have any room for it in my quilt collection, so I decided to sell it. It would make a great Christmas gift for that cat lover, huh? Click on this link to find out more!

Customer's Favorite

Beautiful customer quilt!

Here is a favorite stitch I do with the long arm machine: it is an all-over stipple. Doesn't it look nice on this customer's "Wedding Ring " quilt??
Getting ready to get some more holiday quilts done...and ready to get more customer ones done too!

A Cute Way To Display Quilts

Here's a cute way to display your quilts! I bought this old rustic paint splattered ladder at my local flea market for only $6 bucks. I did place some tissue paper on the rungs before I placed a quilt on them!

You could also HANG the ladder sideways and hang your quilts that way.

Happy quilting!

It's almost time for Civil War reenacting!

July fourth is Gettysburg's civil war reenactment time! So, I've been making some period correct clothes...by machine (not by hand). They DID have sewing machines during the civil war (treadle). My poor treadle needs a new belt.
These are listed on Ebay and you can see the listings HERE!

Fireworks! On a patriotic table runner.

A customer's pretty table runner
Added a cool fireworks design to her table runner. Would have been pretty in a metallic thread too! Click here to see a short video of the long arm sewing it. You could do this free motion too!

Beautiful "gated" quilt

Great idea!
Isn't this a great idea for a quilt!
I sure want to try this one someday.
Basically you make a scenic quilt and then use black fabric and fusibles to put this "gate" on the top of it.
Might want to start small, like a wall hanging :)

Cruise ship quilt. A great gift for yourself or those crusing buddies!

Great gift for yourself or those "crusing buddies" !
Here's a GREAT idea for an unusual quilt (sorry the pic. is blurry). The "windows" are probably iron on transfer paper...OR you could use that clear tablecloth plastic so you could change out the pictures. The ship's "tail" could be a copy of the ship they were on (if you can find out which one).

Happy sewing!!

Gross!
So, this is why my serger isn't working!

I didn't know that little door came off on the side...duh! (I've only had it since 1999). I was going to take it to my dealer to have him look at it. Boy, would I have been embarrassed!! Ha Ha !

We finally moved! But, this is sorta what the house looks like...ugh! (We look like alcoholics..liquor boxes are free and make great packing boxes). My quilting machine was not fun to take apart either. Going to tackle that giant this weekend! Hoping to be up and running again Monday morning.

This is a view from "the loft" where I am going to put the long arm. Had to hang one of my quilts over the edge already :)
